We want everyone to be able to use PropertyGuard AI — with a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or on a small screen.

What we do
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Pages are checked automatically with the axe accessibility engine as part of every release: sign-in and registration, the dashboard, properties, repairs, documents, inspections and compliance, costs, the AI assistant, billing, settings and these information pages.
- Colours meet contrast requirements in light and dark mode, focus is always visible, there is a “skip to main content” link, and forms explain errors next to the field they relate to.
- The iPhone and Android apps support screen readers (VoiceOver and TalkBack), larger text and touch targets of at least 44 points.
Known limitations
- Charts on the Costs page show totals as text too, but some chart detail is visual only.
- Uploaded PDFs and photos are shown as provided and may not be accessible themselves.
- Automated tests cannot find every problem. A full manual audit with assistive-technology users is planned. [Date to be confirmed.]
